Tools@Height is Williams' drop prevention system: hand tools built from the start with a tethering point, rather than ordinary tools taped or banded after the fact.

Engineered attachment points
The tether point is designed into the tool, so it does not foul the jaws, the handle or the swing. Sockets, extensions and adaptors lock on all four sides rather than one.

Independent tethering
Each tool has its own lanyard, so a tool can be taken and returned to its holster one-handed and the worker keeps three points of contact.

Fewer transfers, fewer drops
Around seven drops in ten happen while a lanyard is being moved from one tool to the next. Giving every tool its own lanyard removes that exchange.

What Tools@Height covers
Product codes carry a -TH suffix, so a Tools@Height part reads as the standard Williams number with TH on the end: JHWWS-45-TH, JHW23503-TH, JHW28203-TH.
Sockets
Shallow, deep, 12 point and standard length hex bit sockets, with spring-loaded lock buttons that engage side lock holes on all four faces.
Wrenches and torque wrenches
Combination and adjustable wrenches with sliding stainless safety coils in seven sizes, supporting wrenches to 1-1/2" or 55 mm, plus torque wrenches.
Screwdrivers
Slotted and Phillips, with a rotating stainless tab that turns a full 360° so the lanyard cannot wrap the hand, on a shouldered nylon bushing.
Pliers and cutters
Superjoint, linesman, high leverage diagonal, chain nose, thin bent chain nose and duck bill pliers, wire strippers, wire twisters and cable cutters.
Pipe wrenches and clamps
Pipe wrenches with a pinned tang so it cannot separate from the handle, pipe chain wrenches and drop forged C-clamps.
Hammers
Claw, ball pein, bronze, drilling and sledge hammers, all tethered at the handle rather than the head.
Punches, chisels and bars
Cold and diamond point chisels, pin, prick and long taper punches, pry bars, pinch bars and the 17 piece punch and chisel set.
Saws, files and gauges
Handsaws with XT toothing, professional hand hacksaws, gasket scrapers, engineering file sets, aviation snips and feeler gauges.
Lanyards and holsters
Tool lanyards matched to tool weight, tool holsters, buckets and master sets. Lanyard capacity is rated above tool weight, since drop force exceeds it.

What is Tools@Height?
It is Williams' drop prevention system for working at height: hand tools manufactured with an engineered attachment point so each one can be tethered to the worker or the structure. It covers ratchets, sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, punches, chisels and saws, along with the lanyards and holsters that go with them. Williams is a trademark of Snap-on Incorporated.
How is a Tools@Height part number written?
The standard Williams product code with a -TH suffix. A folding hex key set is JHWWS-45-TH, heavy duty front end wire strippers are JHW23503-TH, aviation snips are JHW28203-TH. If you have a code and are not sure of the equivalent, call it in and we will match it.
Can I tether an ordinary tool instead?
Taping or banding a lanyard to a tool that was not built for it puts the load somewhere the tool was never designed to carry it, and it usually fouls how the tool is meant to be held. The attachment points on these are designed in, which is the difference the system is built around.
How do I choose a lanyard?
Rate the lanyard above the weight of the tool it carries. Drop force is greater than the tool's static weight, so matching the lanyard to the tool weight alone is not enough. The catalogue lists capacities per lanyard, and we will go through it with you.
